Reach & Counterbalance Forklift Operative

Location: Shannon, Co. Clare
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM
Start: Immediate

Staffline Recruitment Ireland are currently recruiting for an experienced Reach & Counterbalance Forklift Operative to join the warehouse team in in Shannon.

The Role

This is a hands-on warehouse position where you'll spend part of your day operating the reach and counterbalance forklifts, alongside general warehouse duties.

Day to day, you'll be responsible for:

• Operating reach and counterbalance forklifts safely around the warehouse.
• Loading and unloading incoming and outgoing goods.
• Moving pallets and stock around the warehouse.
• Putting stock away into the correct storage locations.
• Picking and preparing orders for dispatch.
• Loading pallets and goods for transport.
• Checking goods and stock as required.
• Supporting general warehouse duties when forklift work is quiet.
• Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe.
• Following all health & safety and warehouse procedures.

Requirements

• Valid reach and counterbalance forklift experience/licence.
• Previous warehouse experience.
• Good understanding of safe forklift operation.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

What's on Offer

• €15.00 per hour.
• Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM.
