Mechanical Assembly Fitter

Location: Dundalk, Co. Louth
Pay: €15.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-time

We are currently recruiting a Mechanical Assembly Fitter to join a busy production environment in Dundalk.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong mechanical fitting skills and some experience or knowledge of hydraulic systems. You will be involved in the assembly and fitting of a range of mechanical components, including hydraulic hoses, panels and other bolt-on parts.

The Role

• Carry out mechanical assembly and fitting work to a high standard.
• Assemble and fit components accurately, following specifications and instructions.
• Work with hydraulic systems and hydraulic hoses.
• Carry out general fitting and assembly duties as required.
• Ensure a high level of attention to detail and quality in all work completed.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience in mechanical fitting, assembly, plant, agricultural or automotive mechanics.
• Some knowledge or experience of hydraulic systems is essential.
• Good mechanical aptitude and practical hands-on skills.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work.
• Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
• Previous fitting experience is desirable.
