We are hiring on behalf of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council for an ICT Networks & Infrastructure Support Assistant.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Networks & Infrastructure team in maintaining secure, reliable and resilient ICT systems across the organisation, including networks, servers, storage, backups, and security systems.
• Provide technical assistance for escalated issues from the ICT Operations Team, including on‑site investigation and diagnosis of infrastructure‑related faults.
• Assist in the implementation, monitoring and maintenance of the Council's core ICT infrastructure, ensuring compliance with statutory, legislative and security requirements.
• Contribute to the development, management and control of the Council's network, server, and security environments, supporting the delivery of high‑quality ICT services

Essential Criteria:

• A minimum of five GCSE's (Grades A-C), or equivalent, including English and Mathematics.

AND

• Level 3 qualification, or equivalent in a relevant ICT related discipline such as Computer Science, Computing and Information Technology, Information Management.

OR

• Alternatively, consideration will be given to applicants who do not possess the required educational qualifications outlined above but can demonstrate, by providing personal and specific examples, that they have at least one years' experience working in the field of ICT Service delivery to include the areas outlined at a-d above.

• A full current driving licence (Category B, valid in the UK) and access to a vehicle that will enable the post holder to meet the requirements of the post OR have access to a form of transport that enables you to carry out the duties of the post.
