Key Account Manager (Hybrid - Monaghan)

Salary: €70,000 - €85,000 (DOE)
Location: Monaghan (Hybrid - approx. 2 days onsite per week)

The Role

We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Key Account Manager to join a dynamic and growing business within the food/FMCG sector. This role is focused on managing and developing key customer relationships while driving revenue growth across retail and foodservice channels.

You will play a critical role in delivering sales targets, identifying new business opportunities, and building long-term partnerships with key accounts across Ireland, the UK, and Europe.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts within retail and foodservice
• Develop and execute joint business plans to drive revenue and margin growth
• Identify and convert new business opportunities within existing and new accounts
• Deliver against sales targets and KPIs
• Lead contract negotiations, pricing, and commercial agreements
• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, and product teams
• Analyse market trends, customer insights, and competitor activity
• Prepare and present sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports
• Represent the business at industry events and customer meetings

About You

• Proven experience in Key Account Management or B2B sales (ideally FMCG/food industry)
• Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation skills
• Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
• Data-driven with the ability to translate insights into action
• Highly organised with strong time management skills
• Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office
• Full clean driving licence required
