Depot Supervisor

Depot Supervisor required for our client in Antrim on a temp to perm basis.

2 shifts rotated week on and off; i.e week one: early shift / week two: late shift 6 am-2pm/ 11.30 am- 7.30 pm

Monday to Friday

£29,870 or £16.41/hour, based on a 35 hour week.

JOB DUTIES:

• All freight in depot is scanned according to procedures
• Ensure sorting is performed efficiently to let couriers away by no later than 8am
• Give out collections to couriers in the mornings
• Deal with any problems with scanners (contact IT department if unable to resolve)
• Help with unsorted freight on morning
• Deal with damaged freight, action a decision, scan and log
• Make sure all drivers are in and report if not
• Process RTS freight
• Oversee depot sorters to ensure cages filled correctly
• Have freight scanned for GLS (ROI deliveries)
• Ensure all problem freight is logged
• Run reports after depot scanned and resolve with courier
• Deal with drop in freight
• Process misdirects
• Deal with office emails
• Review depot for problems and ensure freight not sent out inappropriately
• Make sure depot staff are preforming duties and assign task that need to be completed
• Ensure drivers are not taking too much/too little freight out and ensure surplus taken out next day or agree assistance

CRITERIA:

Must have previous supervisory experience

Computer literate in Microsoft packages including excel

Educated to GCSE Level

Previous customer service skills

Must have a valid driving licence
