Job Title: Purchase Ledger Clerk
Location: Warrenpoint
Salary: £28,000 per annum (Pro Rata, 28 hours per week)
Contract Type: Permanent
About the Role
We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity to join a busy Accounts team within a well-established, multi-generational business operating in the manufacturing sector. This organisation has a long standing reputation for quality and service within the food service, hygiene, and catering industries.
The successful candidate will take ownership of the purchase ledger function across two entities within the group. A comprehensive handover and training period will be provided to ensure a smooth transition into the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
- Matching purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
- Assisting with month-end processes
- Handling EC Sales and Intrastat reporting
- Responding to and resolving supplier queries
- Providing general finance and administrative support
About You
- Previous experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Good working knowledge of Excel
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage workload effectively in a structured environment
