Salary: £ 22.65 per hour
Hours: 37 hours per week

About the Role

Staffline is recruiting on behalf of the Northern Ireland Housing Executive for a Contract & Performance Manager to join the Asset Management - Project Delivery team.

This is a key role supporting the delivery and performance monitoring of planned maintenance programmes, ensuring contracts are effectively managed in line with NIHE policies, procedures, and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the management and coordination of contract monitoring activities
  • Assist in developing and implementing performance monitoring frameworks
  • Monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), identifying areas for improvement
  • Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports
  • Provide contract advice and guidance, including escalation and dispute resolution
  • Support training and development in contract and performance management
  • Collate and analyse data for reporting, audits, and statutory returns
  • Contribute to risk management processes and maintain risk registers
  • Manage and support a team to deliver effective services
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety, governance, and NIHE policies

Candidate Requirements

Essential Criteria:

  • Degree (Level 6 or equivalent) in a construction-related discipline
    OR
    Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in a construction role
  • Chartered status (or working towards) in a recognised building profession
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the construction industry, including:
    • At least 3 years managing/reporting on contractual KPIs
  • Experience in at least two of the following:
    • Construction contract management processes
    • Providing contract-related advice and guidance
    • Delivering training or presentations
    • Procurement of construction contracts
  • Strong planning, organisational, and communication skills
  • Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Full driving licence or access to transport
