Production Team Leader - Fivemiletown

Our client, is seeking to recruit a Production Team Leader for their site in Fivemiletown, Co Tyrone

The Role:

As the successful Production Team Leader, your duties will be:

• Lead, motivate, and support production teams in all operational aspects.
• Adhere to quality control standards, ensuring production output meets quality criteria and maintaining records as required.
• Liaise with site Quality Technicians for quality assurance.
• Respond quickly to operational conditions, troubleshooting issues to optimise efficiency.
• Utilise Lean Management tools to drive continuous improvement in productivity while managing production costs.
• Support maintenance tasks, coordinating machine downtime and repairs in collaboration with Production Supervisors.
• Monitor and manage stock levels of materials for production and repairs to support continuous operations.
• Ensure adherence to production schedules, escalating issues promptly to Supply Chain Planning Managers and Production Supervisors.
• Record daily production figures accurately.
• Promote and enforce HSEQ procedures, safe systems of work, and legislative requirements

Requirements for the successful Production Team Leader:

• At least 3 years operational experience in a similar role preferably within an automated, manufacturing environment.
• Computer literate.
• Previous experience in routine and preventative maintenance
• Ability to record and report production data precisely.
• Adherence and appreciation for housekeeping standards
• Ability to work to strict deadlines.
• Sound technical ability
• Medically fit to undertake the physical requirements of the job.

Hours of work:

• Mon - Fri 6am - 4pm
