Location: Donegal

Hours: Mon - Thurs 8:00am - 5:00pm & Fri 8am - 2.30pm
Salary: Excellent salary plus bonus
Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time

Due to continued growth, our client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Logistics Manager to join their team in Donegal.

You will play a key role in optimizing the supply chain and ensuring the seamless movement of goods from point of origin to final destination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing all aspects of the company's logistics operations across several sites
  • Coordinating transportation and distribution globally
  • Managing inventory of packaging materials and implementing efficient processes
  • Maximizing efficiency and minimizing costs while maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer service.
  • Ensuring that all personnel follow health & safety and environmental legislation
  • Managing hauliers ensuring contracts and agreements are in place
  • Keeping up to date with national and international transport regulations, ensuring compliance

Essential Requirements

  • At least 5 years International Logistics Management experience, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
  • Strong understanding of logistics principles, practices, and technologies, including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and supply chain optimization.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate, collaborate, and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends and opportunities, and develop and implement effective strategies and solutions.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards governing logistics operations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite software and other relevant logistics software and systems
