Logistics Coordinator

LOGISTICS COORDINATOR | NORTH COUNTY DUBLIN | PERMANENT |

Our client located in North County Dublin are currently searching for a new Logistics Coordinator to join their Operations team on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Coordinator who has previous experience in a freight operations division dealing with Sea Freight and coordinating full 360 of Imports as well as assisting with customs clearance.

Please note that this position is fully office based with office hours Monday to Friday 9am - 5.15pm

THE ROLE|

Working alongside the operations department, you will be responsible for working as part of a team in coordinating consignment orders within LCL and FCL imports.

ON ANY ONE DAY YOU WILL |

• Liaising with the Warehouse Team and Haulage Agents ensuring operational and administrative processes are coordinated ensuring company's high standard of customer service and policies are upheld
• Invoicing customers and passing of supplier invoices
• Preparation of associated shipment documentation including customs
• Working closely with third party delivery companies and providing customers with updates regarding deliveries
• Efficient management of system event tracking

REQUIREMENTS|

• Minimum 2 years' experience within a freight forwarding office-based role responsible for sea Import consignments
• Proficient use of consignment systems with strong IT skills
• Experience in using Azyra or Thyme
• Knowledge of Irish regulations
• Ability to multi-task within a busy environment
