Production Operative - Temporary

Location - Ballybay, Co. Monaghan

We are currently seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join our Production Team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Role Overview

As a Production Operative, you will work across various areas of the production floor, carrying out a broad range of operational duties to ensure efficient and safe manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate production lines, packing, cleaning, and distribution activities
• Stand for extended periods (4+ hours) and move freely around the factory floor
• Work for prolonged periods in a cold environment
• Review daily production plans and assist in line set-up
• Perform pre-start, hygiene, and safety checks in accordance with company procedures
• Ensure materials are prepared and ready for use
• Report breakages, damage, equipment faults, accidents, or near misses to the Line Supervisor
• Maintain high product quality standards and immediately report any issues
• Engage with all training provided and demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement
• Undertake additional duties as assigned by your Line Supervisor

Essential Requirements

• Previous production or manufacturing experience is highly desirable
• Physically capable of meeting the manual handling and standing requirements of the role
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Strong awareness of workplace hygiene and safety practices
• Good comprehension of the English language (both written and verbal) is essential to ensure full understanding of health & safety instructions, training materials, production documentation, and quality procedures.
