Cook - Immediate Start
Lisgarel, Larne
30 hours per week (rota basis, includes weekends)
Band 3 - £12.75 to £21.55 per hour (depending on shift)
Temporary - 3 months initially (possible extension)
We are currently recruiting for one Cook for an immediate start at Lisgarel, Larne. This is a 30-hour per week position, worked on a rota basis, which may include weekend shifts. Typical working hours will be between 8:00am and 6:00pm.
This is a Band 3 role, offering a pay rate between £12.75 and £21.55 per hour, depending on shift worked. The post is temporary for an initial period of 3 months, with the possibility of extension.
🔹 Main Duties
Preparing and cooking meals in line with set menus and specific dietary requirements
Ensuring food is prepared, cooked, and presented to a high standard
Maintaining excellent standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and safety
Receiving, storing, and rotating food supplies in line with food safety regulations
Monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages or issues as required
Assisting with additional catering duties to support the overall service
🔹 Essential Criteria
Previous experience working within a catering environment
Willingness to complete an Enhanced Access NI Check
Ability to complete 1 day of mandatory online training (held every Wednesday)
