Joiner - Newtownabbey
- Location: DLO Cloughfern Avenue, Newtownabbey
- Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm
- Pay Rate / Salary: £13.91 per hour
- Contract Type: Temporary ongoing
About the Role:
Staffline is recruiting a Joiner to support NIHE's HE Direct North Belfast Response team. This Joiner role involves carrying out a wide range of joinery repairs and maintenance works across NIHE properties, ensuring all work is completed to the required standards and specifications. The Joiner will work as part of a responsive maintenance team delivering essential housing services.

Key Responsibilities:
- Fit kitchens to required specifications
- Repair, renew and maintain internal and external doors, door frames, windows and ironmongery
- Repair, renew and maintain flooring, floor tiles, wall tiles and apply levelling compound
- Repair, renew and maintain bath panels, skirting and plywood ducting
- Repair, renew and maintain fencing, gates and associated works
- Carry out form-work, joist and roof truss works, including slating, tiling and flat roof construction
- Repair guttering, downpipes and roofline elements
- Erect plasterboard and complete dry lining works
- Carry out painting and staining as required
Essential Criteria:
- NVQ Level 2 in Joinery
- 1-5 years' relevant joinery experience
- Ability to carry out joinery duties as outlined in the Joinery Job Description
- Basic IT proficiency
- Access NI check (Basic)
