Shifts/Hours: Mon - Fri 8am - 5.30pm
42hrs per week
About the Role
Staffline Recruitment Ireland is recruiting on behalf of a valued client for the position of Transport Manager
In this role, you will:
- Lead and manage the Transport team to ensure smooth and effective operations
- Manage a fleet of over 100 HGV vehicles ensuring compliance within industry regulations and safety standards
- Collaborate closely with senior management to ensure efficiency of fleet
- Utilise resources efficiently ensuring route optimisation
- Review and approve payroll of drivers
- Monitor and manage daily operational reports
- Conduct investigations into accidents and incidents
This position is an excellent opportunity for someone with Transport Management experience who is looking for a new challenge and would like to join an established company in the Fermanagh area.
Key Requirements for the successful Transport Manager
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Transport management role, looking after a large fleet
- Hold a CPC licence
- Demonstrate excellent knowledge of transport legislation and compliance in UK and ROI
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent IT skills
