We are seeking an experienced Fit-Out Operative to join a well-established manufacturing team working on modular structures. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in construction, fit-out, or a related trade who wants to build a long-term career in a growing industry.

About the Role:
As a Fit-Out Operative, you will be responsible for assembling and installing components within modular units, ensuring all work meets high-quality and safety standards. You will work from engineering and assembly drawings, use a range of power tools, and contribute to the full interior and exterior fit-out process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret engineering and assembly drawings

• Install internal/external cladding panels and flashings

• Fit and align fire doors to specification

• Use power tools including drills, saws, and abrasive tools

• Measure, mark, and cut materials accurately

• Assist with complete modular fit-outs with high workmanship standards

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working area

• Work efficiently as part of a production team to meet deadlines

• Operate within an 8-hour rotating shift pattern

Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience in fit-out, construction, or a similar trade

• Experience with cladding, flashings, or fire door installation is an advantage

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Confident using a wide range of tools and equipment

• Ability to work independently and within a team

• Reliable, positive, and committed to quality work
