Person in Charge - Nursing & Social Care Lead

Currently seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Person in Charge (PICs) to join our client's team, who will manage several residential sites based throughout Sligo.

We are looking for x2 Nurse led PICs for one Disability Service and x1 normal PIC (social care background) with experience to manage another Disability Service.

Key duties:

• Make sure the centre runs smoothly and meets all required standards.
• Supervise and support all staff, ensure high work standards, and arrange training.
• Manage the centre's budget and spending carefully and work with the finance team to plan yearly budgets.
• Create and manage personalised care plans based on each resident's needs and goals.
• Keep the centre safe by following health and safety rules and risk policies.
• Keep records and reports as required by your manager.
• Use HR and incident reporting systems regularly and respond to emails and reports on time.

Essential criteria:

• At least 3 years of experience in a management or supervisory role in health or social care.
• A Level 7 or higher qualification in nursing, social care, or health science (QQI approved).
• Registered with NMBI (for nurses).
• A relevant qualification in management (level 6).
• Full current driving license.
