The Recruitment and Employment Confederation's latest Jobs Recovery Tracker report has revealed the changes in job postings, supply, and demand across the UK in the last number of weeks. The tracker shows changes on a regional basis and amongst a range of sectors, including teaching, hospitality and leisure, driving, and more. We've extracted some key points from the latest Jobs Recovery Tracker for the jobs market in Northern Ireland, highlighting recruitment shifts in the wake of restrictions beginning to ease across the region. Read Staffline Recruitment Ireland's key take aways below. ​Belfast sits in the top regions for growth with an 8% increase in job postings in May so far, beaten only by Angus and Dundee City. As the NI Executive agrees to lift further Coronavirus restrictions in the region, hospitality and retail employers and businesses across other sectors are looking for staff to help them re-launch after months of inactivity. The top sectors for growth so far this month have been teaching, hospitality and leisure, retail, and care work. Some of these sectors, such as care work, have continued to recruit actively throughout the restrictions, and the biggest growth for a key indicator role comes in the hospitality sector as employers seek to recruit bar staff and waiting staff. These should be seen as positive signs for recruiters that businesses are keen to get back to employing and that confidence in hiring is building once more.
