Trainee Machinist

Our client a leading manufacturing company in Fivemiletown, Co Tyrone is seeking to recruit Trainee Machinists for their manufacturing facility.

As a Trainee Machinist your duties will include

Role:

• Learning to operate a basic sewing machine
• Sewing and manufacturing garments
• Cleaning the machines and changing needles and threads
• Quality checking
• Working in a production team
• Working to production schedules

Hours of work:

• 37.75 hours weekly
• Mon - Thurs 8am - 5pm, Fri 8am - 1pm
• Part Time working hours also available

The successful Machinist will have

• Keen eye for detail
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work well under pressure towards targets and deadlines
• Self-motivated and high energy
• Ability to work within a team and on own initiative
