To support continued growth, they are now looking for a motivated Trade Counter Sales Assistant who is passionate about sales and enjoys working in a customer-facing environment.

Responsibilities
The Trade Counter Sales Assistant will play a key role in driving sales and delivering excellent customer service. Duties will include:

• Advising trade and retail customers on a wide range of products and recommending solutions to meet their needs;
• Managing sales transactions accurately and securely;
• Handling customer queries in-store, by phone, and by email in a professional and timely manner;
• Assisting with merchandising, restocking, and maintaining attractive product displays;
• Supporting stock control processes, including cycle counts and inventory checks;
• Working collaboratively with the wider team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

• Competitive salary €30,000 - €36,000 DOE + commission;

Criteria

• Previous experience in trade counter sales, retail, or customer service;
• Strong enthusiasm for sales and building lasting customer relationships;
• A background in hardware, construction, or building supplies would be highly advantageous;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team;
• Flexible, organised, and customer-focused.
