Residential Senior Care Assistant - Fully Flexible

We are recruiting for an experienced and compassionate Residential Senior Care Assistant to join our award-winning team. This is a vital role where you will provide high-quality, person-centred care while supporting and mentoring colleagues.

Location: Coleraine area
Contract: Full-time, fully flexible (days and nights)
Salary: £26,000-£27,500 (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personalised, compassionate care to residents.

• Lead and support the care team to achieve the highest standards.

• Ensure accurate and timely completion of care documentation.

• Safely manage medication administration and records.

• Maintain compliance with safeguarding, infection control, and health & safety.

• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience in elderly or residential care.

• Flexibility to work both day and night shifts.

• Strong knowledge of medication handling, infection control, and safeguarding.

• Proven leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.

Desired Criteria

• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to progress to Level 3).

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualifications.

• Experience supervising or leading a team.
