Residential Senior Care Assistant - Fully Flexible
We are recruiting for an experienced and compassionate Residential Senior Care Assistant to join our award-winning team. This is a vital role where you will provide high-quality, person-centred care while supporting and mentoring colleagues.
Location: Coleraine area
Contract: Full-time, fully flexible (days and nights)
Salary: £26,000-£27,500 (depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities
Deliver personalised, compassionate care to residents.
Lead and support the care team to achieve the highest standards.
Ensure accurate and timely completion of care documentation.
Safely manage medication administration and records.
Maintain compliance with safeguarding, infection control, and health & safety.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
Essential Requirements
Previous experience in elderly or residential care.
Flexibility to work both day and night shifts.
Strong knowledge of medication handling, infection control, and safeguarding.
Proven leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
Desired Criteria
NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to progress to Level 3).
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualifications.
Experience supervising or leading a team.
