Job Title: QA Assistant
Location: Cullybackey
The Role:
Staffline Recruitment is offering an exciting opportunity to join our partner company based in Cullybackey. We are currently seeking a highly motivated QA Assistant to support and monitor food safety, legality, quality, and health & safety procedures in line with the company's Food Safety and Quality Management System.
Key Responsibilities:
Carrying out monitoring and verification checks throughout the factory, including temperatures, CCPs, and pre-requisite requirements
Accurately completing all required documentation
Verifying production check sheets
Performing butchery checks to ensure product compliance with customer specifications
Conducting internal audits
Investigating non-conformances
Verifying completed investigations of non-conformances and customer complaints
Enforcing Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and hygiene standards across the factory
Assessing goods at intake to ensure they meet required specifications
Assisting in preparation for customer visits, third-party, and internal audits
Performing any other duties within the scope of the role as directed by management
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (Exact hours to be confirmed. Flexibility may be required to meet operational needs)
Rate of pay: TBC at interview
What We're Looking For:
Experience in a QA/QC or GMP environment - Desirable
Understanding of HACCP and BRC quality management systems
Familiarity with the red meat sector
Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Good communication skills
