Job Title: QA Assistant

The Role:

Staffline Recruitment is offering an exciting opportunity to join our partner company based in Cullybackey. We are currently seeking a highly motivated QA Assistant to support and monitor food safety, legality, quality, and health & safety procedures in line with the company's Food Safety and Quality Management System.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out monitoring and verification checks throughout the factory, including temperatures, CCPs, and pre-requisite requirements

• Accurately completing all required documentation

• Verifying production check sheets

• Performing butchery checks to ensure product compliance with customer specifications

• Conducting internal audits

• Investigating non-conformances

• Verifying completed investigations of non-conformances and customer complaints

• Enforcing Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and hygiene standards across the factory

• Assessing goods at intake to ensure they meet required specifications

• Assisting in preparation for customer visits, third-party, and internal audits

• Performing any other duties within the scope of the role as directed by management

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (Exact hours to be confirmed. Flexibility may be required to meet operational needs)

Rate of pay: TBC at interview

What We're Looking For:

• Experience in a QA/QC or GMP environment - Desirable

• Understanding of HACCP and BRC quality management systems

• Familiarity with the red meat sector

• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn

• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills

• Good communication skills
