Staffline Recruitment Ireland are recruiting for a Programme Manager on behalf of our client based in the Education sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for the successful planning, development, piloting, implementation and communication of a large scale project.

Some of the Responsibilities to Include:

  • Apply project management methodologies and best practice while managing a cross functional team drawn from Operational Staff and Subject Matter Experts.
  • Establish and lead working groups and steering committees as required for the project.
  • Develop a Project Plan through the Initiation, Planning, Execution and Closure Phases within the prescribed time lines & budget.
  • Provide leadership for the development of up-to-date materials and resources to support the development of the new curricula.
  • Procure necessary materials and resources to support development in conjunction with the Procurement Office.
  • Act as a liaison between course/qualification design, quality assurance and SMEs to ensure successful coordination of activities.
  • Ensure all new procedures and documentation is complete in line with QA standards.
  • Engage an external evaluator for the duration of the project.
  • Measure project performance and identify areas for processes improvement.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of the project, including plans, progress reports, and final deliverables.
  • Prepare and present reports to stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Report on project updates to the assigned Manager responsible for the project.

Qualifications:

  • Primary degree in a related field
  • Evidence of experience in Project Management
  • Knowledge of curriculum development
  • Communicating effectively orally and in writing, adapting the message for diverse audiences in an inclusive and accessible way
  • Experience of managing projects across organisations involving multiple stakeholders
  • Collaborating and working effectively within team and across different professional groups
  • Experience of working with industry partners
  • Planning, prioritising and managing resources effectively to achieve project goals
