Job description
Staffline Recruitment Ireland are recruiting for a Programme Manager on behalf of our client based in the Education sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for the successful planning, development, piloting, implementation and communication of a large scale project.
Some of the Responsibilities to Include:
- Apply project management methodologies and best practice while managing a cross functional team drawn from Operational Staff and Subject Matter Experts.
- Establish and lead working groups and steering committees as required for the project.
- Develop a Project Plan through the Initiation, Planning, Execution and Closure Phases within the prescribed time lines & budget.
- Provide leadership for the development of up-to-date materials and resources to support the development of the new curricula.
- Procure necessary materials and resources to support development in conjunction with the Procurement Office.
- Act as a liaison between course/qualification design, quality assurance and SMEs to ensure successful coordination of activities.
- Ensure all new procedures and documentation is complete in line with QA standards.
- Engage an external evaluator for the duration of the project.
- Measure project performance and identify areas for processes improvement.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of the project, including plans, progress reports, and final deliverables.
- Prepare and present reports to stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Report on project updates to the assigned Manager responsible for the project.
Qualifications:
- Primary degree in a related field
- Evidence of experience in Project Management
- Knowledge of curriculum development
- Communicating effectively orally and in writing, adapting the message for diverse audiences in an inclusive and accessible way
- Experience of managing projects across organisations involving multiple stakeholders
- Collaborating and working effectively within team and across different professional groups
- Experience of working with industry partners
- Planning, prioritising and managing resources effectively to achieve project goals
