Job description

Sunday - Thursday 0800-1630

The purpose of this is to support management team towards achieving maximum production

efficiency and product quality; to ensure adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene

procedures; to control legal compliance and process systems. To lead by example and ensure that

you and your team are adhering to company policies and procedures in relation to Product

Quality, Food Safety and Integrity.

Key Responsibilities

· Be audit-ready at all times

· Conduct on-going inspections of facilities, equipment and processes

· Follow the agreed schedule to train staff on food safety policies, sanitation practices, and

compliance requirements

· Lead the team to foster a culture of safety and quality across all operations - adopt the 3-step

plan to SEE IT - SORT IT - REPORT IT

· Support staff with troubleshooting food safety issues

· Maintain accurate records of safety checks, audits and corrective actions

· Monitor product quality to ensure it meets company and regulatory standards

· Allocate and supervise staff to different lines to achieve overall production efficiency and to

ensure that production targets are met per order.

· Understand AX, Autocoding, and Sparc systems and utilise these in the department

· Control packaging, labels, etc, and sign off required documents

· Observe department stock rotation and control

· Ensure that production records are accurately completed

· Sign off department specifics training

· Investigate people management issues at operational level such as timekeeping and work

performance and report any issues to the department management team.

· Ensure that appropriate Health and Safety, Food Safety (HACCP) and Hygiene procedures are

implemented at all times

· Lead by example and ensure that you and your team are adhering to company policies and

procedures in relation to Product Quality, Food Safety and Integrity.

· Collaborate with all other departments to address quality/compliance issues

· Create a departmental culture of excellence, integrity and collaboration; implement a "do the

right thing" mentality in all interactions

· Undertake other appropriate duties as deemed necessary within the scope of the role.

Essential

Basic level of both verbal and written English

Minimum 3 years' experience within

Production Supervisor Role within a food

manufacturing environment

Level 2 Food Safety

Computer Literate
