Loading Bay Manager

We are seeking an experienced Loading Bay Manager to oversee the receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods. This hands-on role ensures smooth operations, timely deliveries, and effective team management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee loading operations, ensuring items remain undamaged.
• Inspect goods, address delivery discrepancies, and liaise with suppliers.
• Maintain schedules to prevent delays and optimise work-flows.
• Lead and supervise a team of operatives.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound deliveries.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and a well-organised loading bay.

Additional Duties May Include:

• Assisting with installations, minor repairs, and showroom support.
• Working overtime to meet project deadlines.

Skills & Experience:

• Warehouse/loading bay management experience.
• Strong leadership, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy items.
• Forklift/Lorry licence (a bonus but not essential).
