Lab Technician

Staffline Recruitment is now hiring a Lab Technician for a leading food production company based in Roscrea, Co. Tipperary. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join a well-established organisation in the food manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out routine laboratory testing on raw materials, in-process, and finished products in accordance with company and regulatory standards.

• Ensure all samples are collected, labelled, and recorded accurately.

• Maintain high levels of hygiene and safety within the laboratory environment.

• Support production and quality teams by providing accurate and timely test results.

• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.

• Record and report all results in line with traceability and compliance requirements.

• Assist with audits, quality checks, and continuous improvement projects as required.

Requirements:

• A qualification in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related discipline.

• Previous laboratory experience in a food or manufacturing environment is desirable.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent record-keeping and communication skills.

• Flexible and able to work as part of a team.

• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and quality systems would be an advantage.
