HR Administrator
Reports to: HR Manager / HR Director / Directors
Hours: 9.00am - 1.00pm, Monday to Friday (20 hours per week)
Salary: £13.00 per hour
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced and highly organised HR Administrator to join our client's HR team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to provide professional administrative support across all areas of Human Resources, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and HR data management.
You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of daily HR operations and contribute to delivering a positive employee experience across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Respond promptly and professionally to employee queries, escalating to the HR Manager when appropriate.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring compliance and confidentiality.
Support the recruitment process, including arranging interviews and acting as a point of contact for applicants.
Assist with onboarding new employees, including documentation checks (e.g., Right to Work) and compliance requirements.
Prepare and issue HR-related documentation such as contracts, offer letters, and probation review forms.
Maintain and update employee data and attendance records within the HR Information System (HRIS).
Generate, interpret, and distribute HR data and reports for management.
Attend and take accurate notes during employee relations meetings (e.g., investigations, disciplinary, and grievance hearings).
Manage annual leave records, calculate entitlements, and update approved leave on the HR system.
Ensure confidentiality, accuracy, and professionalism in all HR administrative activities.
Experience, Skills, and Attributes
Minimum of degree level in HR/Business or CIPD Level 3 qualification.
At least 1 year of administrative experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel).
Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
Desirable: Previous HR administrative experience.
Desirable: Experience using HR Information Systems (HRIS).
Desirable: Experience in minute-taking or note-taking in employee relations meetings.
