The Client: Heath Care Trust in Armagh

The Role:

The post holder will be responsible for supporting the Health and Safety Manager in the provision of a professional advisory service on all aspects of health, safety and fire through expert advice and guidance and actively promote health, safety and fire and its effective management throughout the organisation and to embed a culture of health, safety and fire compliance.

The post holder will work closely with and foster good working relationships with other senior colleagues, line managers, staff organisations and other stakeholders.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 37.50hrs

Requirements:

• A Degree or recognised professional Occupational Health and Safety qualification or equivalent / Higher qualification AND 2 years' experience in a middle management role as a health and safety advisor
• HNC / HND or equivalent / higher qualification in Occupational Health and Safety AND 3 years' experience in a middle management role as a health and safety advisor
• Experience in the use of Microsoft office products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience of designing and delivering training programmes within the last three years
• Experience of developing reports and policies/guidance
• Hold a current full driving licence which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment

In Return: £18.10 per hour + holiday entitlement
