General Operative - (Adhoc)

Job Title: General Operative
Location: Campsie, Derry
Pay Rate: £12.64 per hour
Hours: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm (Adhoc, as required)

Job Overview:
We are seeking reliable and hardworking individuals for adhoc work in a cold storage environment. This role involves supporting daily warehouse operations to ensure goods are stored, handled, and prepared efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading goods in a safe and efficient manner

• Moving and stacking products within the cold store

• Picking and packing orders to meet customer requirements

• Ensuring correct storage temperatures are maintained (PPE provided)

• Following all health & safety and food hygiene procedures

• Completing basic paperwork or using handheld scanners

Requirements:

• Ability to work in cold storage conditions (PPE provided)

• Good attention to detail and accuracy

• Reliability and punctuality

• Willingness to work on an adhoc basis, sometimes at short notice

• Previous experience in a warehouse or cold store environment is an advantage but not essential
