Band 3 Finance Administration Assistant
Lagan Valley Hospital
Temporary - 3 Months
The Client: Local public body based in Lisburn, supporting Estates Finance operations.
The Role:
Key Duties / Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Estates Finance Team
- Work confidently with finance systems and operational management systems
- Manage and update records accurately, following set processes and procedures
- Use Excel daily - applying formulas and managing spreadsheets at an intermediate to advanced level
- Handle email communications efficiently, including filing emails into folders and tracking tasks
- Maintain attention to detail in all aspects of administrative work
- Process data and documentation with speed and accuracy
- Support with internal document control, digital filing, and general office duties
- Assist with compiling and managing reports, forms, and other finance-related paperwork
- Carry out any other general clerical tasks as required to support the smooth running of the team
Hours of Work:
- 37.5 hours per week
Requirements:
- 4 GCSEs at Grade A-C including English Language and Mathematics or equivalent/higher qualification AND 1 years' relevant administrative/clerical experience
OR
- 2 years' relevant administrative/clerical experience
Skills Required:
- Intermediate to advanced Excel - comfortable with formulas and regular use
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident using finance and operational systems
- Ability to follow procedures and manage records
- Good email management skills - saving, searching and tracking communications
In Return:
- Rate of pay: £12.31 per hour
- Holiday entitlement
