FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER | PERMANENT | MUNSTER

ABOUT THE ROLE |
Our client is seeking a reliable and skilled Field Service Engineer to join their team. You will be responsible for attending customer sites to carry out machine installations, decommissions, maintenance, repairs, and breakdown resolutions, ensuring all work meets agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs). The role demands a proactive and customer-focused individual who can work independently while adhering to company policies and health & safety standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES |

  • Attend customer sites to perform machine installations, decommissions, breakdown repairs, and routine maintenance in line with SLAs.

  • Accurately report job outcomes using the company tablet or service documentation, including meter readings and any incidents such as theft or vandalism.

  • Maintain adequate stock of repair parts and components on your vehicle to facilitate efficient fault rectification.

  • Return defective stock items clearly marked with relevant details to the company for evaluation and repair.

  • Keep your company vehicle well-maintained and report any accidents or faults promptly in accordance with company policy.

  • Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to company dress standards.

Health & Safety:

  • Adhere strictly to company and customer Health & Safety policies and Safe Methods of Work.

  • Use and maintain Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided.

  • Drive responsibly following the Company's Drivers Policy and Safety Manual.

  • Report any health and safety concerns immediately to your line manager.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in field service, machine maintenance, or a related technical role.

  • Strong mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting skills.

  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

  • Commitment to health & safety standards.

  • Living in Munster as sites are mainly in this region
