Are you an experienced cleaning supervisor/team lead with a keen eye for detail and a knack for leading teams?

We're recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturing facility in Derry for a Cleaning Team Leader to oversee the day-to-day operations of the on-site cleaning team.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Leading and motivating a team of cleaners to ensure the site meets cleanliness and hygiene standards at all times.
  • Planning rotas, managing absences and holiday cover to ensure full shift coverage.
  • Conducting audits and inspections, recording outcomes, and maintaining cleaning schedules.
  • Overseeing stock levels of cleaning supplies and consumables; placing orders as needed.
  • Supporting the facilities team with waste management and sustainability initiatives.
  • Ensuring all training documentation (e.g., JSAs) is up to date and team members are fully trained.
  • Providing cover for reception during staff breaks and holidays.
  • Supporting wider facilities management projects in line with global energy-saving initiatives.

Essential:

  • At least 2 years' supervisory or team leadership experience within a regulated manufacturing or similar environment.
  • Demonstrable leadership skills with a proactive approach to Health & Safety and performance improvement.
  • Confident with IT - especially Microsoft Office applications.
  • Flexibility to work rotational shift patterns based on business needs.

Desirable:

  • SAP experience.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement processes.
