Business Administrator - Ballymena

Location: Ballymena
Salary: £23,809 per annum + 36 days annual leave + healthcare + pension + reward scheme
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (reasonable flexibility required)
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

Staffline Recruitment Ireland is recruiting a Business Administrator to join our Ballymena team. This role offers a great opportunity to develop your administrative skills while supporting one of Ireland's leading recruitment agencies.

You'll play an important part in ensuring that our clients, candidates, and visitors receive a professional and efficient service every time.

About the Role

As a Business Administrator, you'll provide vital support to our consultants and branch teams, helping to keep daily operations running smoothly.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting clients and visitors and ensuring a professional front-of-house experience.
  • Managing phone and email enquiries and directing them to the right consultant.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, both digital and manual.
  • Supporting branch operations through scheduling, data entry, and diary management.
  • Coordinating meeting room bookings and preparing refreshments for visitors.
  • Managing post, deliveries, and office supplies.
  • Assisting with general administrative tasks including filing, photocopying, and correspondence.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

  • Minimum 12 months' experience in an administrative or receptionist role.
  • Experience dealing with clients or customers in person and over the phone.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Five GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades A-C, including English and Maths.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in a recruitment or professional services environment.
  • Knowledge of office systems or CRM software.
