Breast Screening Select Implementation Project Manager

Location: Linum Chambers, Bedford Street, Belfast
Hours: Part -time, 25 hours per week
Pay Rate: £23.60

Requirements:

  • A university degree, or equivalent qualification, and 3 years' experience working with a diverse range of stakeholders at senior level across organisations to achieve successful outcomes, in relation to project management, service improvement or quality improvement.

OR

  • 5 years' experience working with a diverse range of stakeholders at senior levels across organisations to achieve successful outcomes, in relation to project management, service improvement or quality improvement.

  • A recognised project management qualification e.g. PRINCE 2

OR

  • Demonstrate evidence of having managed a significant project that required the application of the full range of project management skills.

  • Hold a current full driving licence which is valid for use in the UK

Job Overview


We are seeking a Breast Screening Select Implementation Project Manager to join the Belfast Health and Social Care team.

The main purpose of this post is to project manage the regional implementation of the Breast Screening Select (BSS) IT system, to enable the continued provision of breast screening and surveillance screening for women at very high risk (VHR) of breast cancer in Northern Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project manage the implementation and go-live of Breast Screening Select in Northern Ireland in line with regional policy.
  • Monitor progress of project delivery, ensuring that milestones are achieved and produce exception reports where delivery is not on schedule and take appropriate action.
  • Develop and maintain excellent communication and liaison with staff at all levels across key stakeholders.
