Solicitor Support required for a large public sector organisation based through the Northern Ireland Civil Service.
Location: Corn Exchange, Belfast.
Pay Per Hour: £28.69
Full Time / Part Time: Part Time (30 hours per week, Monday-Thursday)
JOB SUMMARY/MAIN PURPOSE:
Part time role, to act as Assistant Solicitor (Grade 7 equivalent) to the Solicitor to the Inquiry in service of all the Chair and Panels legal requirements to format and finalise witness statements, consider documentation from participants and summarise same in an easily read form. To take instructions from Senior Counsel on witness lists, protocols and attend hearings. To take statements as and when required.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
Be qualified as a barrister or solicitor entitled to practise in Northern Ireland and hold a practising certificate or be in a position to do so by the date of appointment.
DESIRABLE CRITERIA
Previous experience of work in an Inquiry preferable and or litigation experience.
