Architect/Architectural Technologist

With a diverse portfolio that includes residential, commercial, and public projects, our client is dedicated to designing spaces that enhance lives. We are looking for an Architect/Architectural Technologist who can manage projects from concept to completion, utilising AutoCAD, Revit, and creative tools like SketchUp and Photoshop.

Ideal Candidate will be able to work individually or as part of a team from initial concept stage through to construction & completion.
Typical duties include:
- Liaising with clients & developing their brief
- Developing designs independently & with other team members using AutoCad/Revit and other specialist software. Presentations take the form of Sketchup & Photoshop
- Advising on materials, technology and processes involved in building design
- Preparing documents to help with getting planning permission and similar approvals
- Communicating with local authorities about planning permissions
- Preparing tender & construction documents
- Contract Administration & BCMS requirements
- Site Inspections to check progress, compliance & quality
- Keeping up to date with legislation, standards and technological innovation
Additional Information
- Mostly office-based with option to work from home 1 day per week, site visits will be required depending on project stages.
- Salary dependant on qualification, experience and role.
