Job Title - Stock Controller

Location - Portadown

Salary - £30k-£35k

Hours - Monday to Friday 0830-1730

We now wish to recruit a Purchasing & Supply Chain Coordinator for our Seagoe Site. This role is defined for Packaging Materials. You will drive the profitable growth of those ranges, develop mutually beneficial relationships with those suppliers, and add value to the overall procurement process. This is an excellent opportunity for the right person to further develop their skills and experience

This role will include:

• Negotiating costs, ranges and supply in defined product areas as part of an overall Procurement Team to ensure appropriate and cost-effective solutions
• Communicating and negotiating with a range of existing and new suppliers and manufacturers on a daily basis including building and maintaining relationships
• Manage stock levels in line with customer forecasts
• Ensure that accurate records are maintained and are up to date
• Dealing with difficult or unexpected situations in a professional manner
• Working as part of a busy professional team to ensure that we are able to offer excellent customer service through the availability of the optimum product range

Criteria

• Proven ability to negotiate and communicate effectively to build lasting relationships with suppliers
• Ability to prioritise and organise workloads on your own initiative
• Good IT Experience including Microsoft Office - Word/Excel/Outlook skill
• Ability to work well and flexibly with others
• Experience of both working within a team and individual
• Experience of working under pressure and to tight deadline
• Packaging Material knowledge is desirable but not essential
