Amsorb Production Operator

Staffline Recruitment is currently recruiting for Amsorb Production Operators to join our client's production team.

This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and motivated individuals to join a busy manufacturing environment, with full training provided.

Working Hours: 8:00am to 4:00pm

Rate of pay:£12.73

Key Responsibilities

Production Operations

• Insert foam components into product lids and accurately assemble lids for use on production lines.

• Assemble Amsorb products and components in line with production schedules, work orders and documented procedures.

• Operate designated assembly, packaging and production equipment safely and efficiently.

• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.

• Carry out in-process inspections to ensure products meet required specifications.

• Accurately identify, handle and process raw materials, components and finished products throughout the production process.

• Meet daily production targets while maintaining high standards of quality, safety and efficiency.

Quality, Compliance & Health & Safety

• Manufacture, assemble, inspect and pack products in accordance with approved procedures and Quality Management System requirements.

• Monitor product quality throughout the assembly and packing process and report any defects or non-conformances promptly.

• Complete production records, quality documentation and traceability requirements accurately.

• Maintain compliance with hygiene, contamination control and product quality requirements.

• Follow all company health, safety, quality and regulatory requirements.

• Wear and maintain the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required for assigned tasks.

Housekeeping & Continuous Improvement

• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, cleanliness and organisation within the Amsorb production area.

• Ensure workstations, tools and equipment are cleaned and maintained in accordance with departmental procedures.

• Report equipment faults, safety concerns, quality issues or process inefficiencies to the Team Leader, Supervisor or Production Manager.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives designed to improve quality, productivity and operational efficiency.

• Assist with stock management, material replenishment, line changeovers and other production support activities as required.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in a manufacturing, production or warehouse environment is desirable but not essential.

• Good attention to detail and a strong focus on quality.

• Ability to follow procedures and work instructions accurately.

• Reliable and flexible approach to working shifts.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• Good health and safety awareness.

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
