Staffline are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Administrator based in the Omagh / Enniskillen area for a company in the construction industry.
This is a standalone role for an experienced and confident Administrator with a proven track record managing administrative and accounts duties, working to deadlines and achieving results required within their role
Hours of work: Mon - Thur, 9am - 5pm (flexible hours considered also)
Salary depending on experience
Duties:
- Answering calls and emails
- Proactively managing customer requests
- Use of MS Excel to manage information for mutiple projects
- Preparation of sales invoices
- Proactive debtor management.
- Performing bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate accounting records.
- Managing vehicle administration tasks (e.g., V5C).
- Assisting with the preparation of management accounts and financial reports.
- Completion of UK /ROI VAT returns.
- Assisting with the development and implementation of internal control systems.
- General office administration and ad-hoc duties as required.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in accounting software (ideally SAGE one) and Microsoft Office applications.
- Proven experience in bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and financial administration is essential.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
- Ability to work independently and use initiative.
- Familiarity with Relevant Contracts Tax (RCT) is desirable, though not essential
