Staffline is proudly recruiting a Quality & Safety Officer on behalf of our client, a market-leading Third-Party Logistics organisation, for a permanent position based at their site in Mallusk.

Role:
Operating within a controlled, AEO-certified environment, this newly created role is responsible for supporting ongoing compliance with HMRC and HSE regulations, ensuring customer quality standards are consistently achieved, and maintaining a safe, compliant, and well-governed site.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain site quality procedures to ensure customer standards and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are consistently achieved.
- Provide support during internal, customer, and regulatory audits.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with Customs Warehouse regulations and Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) requirements.
- Monitor operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance and efficiency.
- Ensure full compliance with UK Health & Safety legislation across site operations.
- Conduct risk assessments, site inspections, and safety briefings to promote a safe working environment.
- Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventative actions.
- Maintain accurate compliance documentation and produce detailed reports to support governance and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a Quality and/or Health & Safety role.
- Experience within logistics, warehousing, or a regulated environment is desirable.
- Understanding of Customs-controlled operations or Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) environments is advantageous.
- Good working knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation.
- NEBOSH Certificate (desirable).
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to produce clear and accurate reports.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive and solution-focused approach.
