Casual Recreation Assistant

Rate of Pay: £13.69 per hour

Hours of Work: various shifts

The Client: Local government body based in Lisburn, serving local residents.

The Role:

• The post holder is responsible for providing and maintaining a high level of customer service, and for ensuring that facilities are clean and well presented
• Ensure equipment is serviceable and properly handled and that all Health & Safety Policies and Hygiene standards are maintained in accordance with Council Protocol
• The post holder will assume other delegated duties appropriate to the post reasonably assigned by management

Essential Criteria:

• A relevant recognised current coaching qualification
• A minimum of one years' experience of dealing with the public in a customer service related environment

Where applicants do not hold the qualifications as outlined in 1.1, they must demonstrate a minimum of two years' experience as outlined in 1.2 above

Desirable Criteria:

• One years' experience of working within a leisure facility (eg outdoor sports pitches, leisure centre, recreation centre, private fitness club or other sport/leisure organisation)
• A current First Aid at Work qualifications
