Hygiene Operative, Craigavon (NIGHTS)

Effectively carry out a range of cleaning duties. Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the working environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Hours & Remuneration:

Shift Pattern: 9pm - 5.45am

40 hours per week (MONDAY - FRIDAY)

Rate of Pay : £13.72ph

Duties

• Cleaning walls, floors, machinery and equipment
• Using chemicals & power washing units
• Following specific cleaning schedules and procedures
• To use specified chemicals and equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• To store cleaning chemicals and equipment in designated safe place, away from food production areas
• To ensure that all cleaning materials and equipment are used in conjunction with the COSHH instruction as displayed on containers
• Report any incidents, environmental concerns, or equipment malfunctions to the Shift Manager
• Completing checklists
• Working to deadlines

Skills

• Previous experience in a hygiene or cleaning role would be ideal, preferably in the food industry
• Ability to perform physical tasks
• Thorough and conscientious work aptitude
• Willingness to learn, ability to work as part of a team under minimum supervision
