🕒 Hours: 38 hours per week (rota incl. evenings, weekends & nights)
📄 Contract: Permanent
💷 Salary: £25,549 - £28,612 per annum
⭐ Enhanced pay for weekends & waking nights

About the Role

We are recruiting Children's Residential Workers to support children and young people with disabilities and behaviours that may challenge in a caring, homely residential setting. The service uses a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) approach and offers a wide range of engaging activities including play, sensory activities, outdoor trips, baking, music, and community involvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred care and support

• Support care planning and daily routines

• Build positive relationships with children, families, and professionals

• Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing

• Maintain accurate records and follow safeguarding procedures

• Work flexibly across a rota, including evenings, weekends, and nights

Essential Criteria

• Level 3 qualification in a care-related subject

• Minimum 6 months' experience in care (children or adults with learning disabilities)

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Willingness to provide personal care

• Registered or willing to register with NISCC
