We are currently recruiting an experienced and driven Store Manager to lead a busy grocery retail store in Carlingford. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded retail professional who is passionate about customer service, people leadership, and delivering strong operational performance.

The Role

As Store Manager, you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the store, ensuring high standards across customer service, fresh food, team performance, and commercial results. You will lead, motivate, and develop a large team while working closely with the Store Owner to achieve agreed targets and KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional customer experience, ensuring customer satisfaction is always the top priority

• Lead, coach, and develop the management team and wider store team

• Drive sales, profitability, and performance against key KPIs including margin, waste, and overheads

• Ensure excellent standards of merchandising, presentation, and store compliance

• Oversee staffing, rosters, performance management, and HR administration

• Ensure full compliance with Food Safety, Health & Safety, employment legislation, and HACCP standards

• Build strong relationships with the local community and suppliers

• Implement retail excellence standards and continuous improvement initiatives

About You

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a senior retail management role (Assistant Manager or Store Manager level)

• Strong leadership skills with proven experience managing and developing teams

• Commercially aware with the ability to analyse reports and act on performance data

• Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent communication and delegation skills

• Passionate about grocery retail and delivering outstanding service
