Location: County Fermanagh
Pay Rate / Salary: Competitive salary plus bonus
Contract Type: Permanent
Shifts/Hours: Mon - Thurs 8am - 5.30pm, Fri 8am - 5pm
About the Role
Staffline Recruitment Ireland is recruiting on behalf of a valued client for the position of Continuous Improvement Officer
In this role, you will:
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the business by championing the use of Lean, Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma across the site.
- Work closely with all staff to build a continuous improvement environment to support an ongoing programme of change.
- Management of the site's Lean Tools and Techniques implementation; including, but not limited to the establishment and upkeep of 5S Housekeeping,
- Visual Management, and Root Cause Analysis, in line with company standards.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to management and key personnel in the rollout projects.
- Facilitate the development and implementation of new and innovative ways of working as part of a 'best in class' continuous improvement strategy.
- Facilitate Lean/process improvement-based workshops to drive ideas and solutions.
- Complete post-implementation reviews to ensure successful delivery has been achieved and to ensure that improvements can be made for future projects

Key Requirements for the successful Continuous Improvement Officer
- Essential to have a 3rd level qualification in Technology, Business, Engineering or a related discipline OR 5+ years relevant work experience.
- Must have Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt qualification and knowledge of Lean Six Sigma Tools such as DMAIC, Root Cause, Analysis, 5S AND Standard Work.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Qualification and Project/Programme Management experience is desirable.
- Must have 2+ years' experience implementing Lean
- Strong attention to detail, project management and planning skills.
- Effective leadership and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
