Waste Operative - Recycling Yard (Full-Time)
Location: Near Markethill, County Armagh
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. (40 hours per week)
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Pay: From £14.00 per hour

About the Role
We are recruiting Waste Operatives to join a busy tyre recycling yard located near Markethill. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors and contributing to an efficient, safety-focused operation.
You will support the day-to-day processing of waste tyres, ensuring materials are sorted, handled and processed correctly in line with health, safety and waste management regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Unload, sort and process incoming waste deliveries
- Complete all required paperwork accurately
- Load materials into on-site machinery
- Follow all Health & Safety and Waste Management Licence requirements
- Liaise with office staff, drivers and yard teams
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Carry out general yard and ad-hoc duties as required
Skills & Qualities Required
- Strong work ethic with a positive and reliable attitude
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a small team
- Good communication skills with a professional manner
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual outdoor work
- Forklift licence is desirable but not essential
