Location: Prison Healthcare Pharmacy, HMP Maghaberry

Hours: 37.5 hrs per week

Pay Rate: £12.21

Requirements:

• 3 GCSE Grade A-C 9including English and Maths
• Hold a current full driving licence which is valid for use in the UK
• CTC check carried out.

Job Overview

We are seeking a pharmacy assistant to join the South Eastern Trust Health and Social Care team.

To assist in the provision of a comprehensive, high quality and efficient pharmacy service to the Prison Healthcare. The post holder will work as an effective member of the pharmacy team providing comprehensive pharmaceutical services, including Medicines Management and dispensary duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake the dispensing, labelling and packaging of prescribed items and completion of dispensary records
• Maintain appropriate stock levels in a neat, clean, safe and orderly manner.
• Processing returns from treatment rooms and other prison establishments
• Undertake other duties assigned by Pharmacist/Technician as appropriate
