Title: Defence Litigation Solicitor - Motor/Insurance (Maternity Cover)
Location: Belfast, Northern Ireland
Contract: Fixed-term (approx. 12 months)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
We are seeking an experienced Defence Litigation Solicitor to join a well-regarded Belfast legal team on a 12-month maternity cover. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor to work on a varied and interesting caseload across motor injury, credit hire, and fraud matters.
What you'll do
Manage a diverse caseload of motor and insurance defence claims.
Advise clients and handle litigation from start to finish, including drafting documents and attending hearings as required.
Work collaboratively within a team, playing to your strengths while developing areas of special interest.
Support the team in delivering high-quality legal services to clients.
Who we're looking for
Qualified Solicitor in Northern Ireland with a current practising certificate.
Experience in insurance defence, motor claims, credit hire, or related civil litigation.
Strong analytical, organisational, and client-handling skills.
Ability to manage a busy caseload while maintaining attention to detail.
Enthusiasm for working in a supportive, collaborative team environment.
