Registration Criteria

Essential Criteria Registered Nurses Must Training Requirements Vaccination Requirements (Not required for work in the private sector)
Hold a degree, diploma, or other nursing qualification allowing registration with NMC. Provide evidence of mandatory training updates. Manual Handling – yearly BCG (Tuberculosis)
Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council. Complete an Enhanced AccessNI check with Staffline Healthcare. Fire Safety – yearly Measles
Minimum of 6 months' experience working in a hospital/nursing home (including completed preceptorship, if applicable). Provide evidence of vaccinations (not required for work in the private sector). CPR – yearly Rubella
Infection Prevention and Control – yearly Hepatitis B
HIV Awareness – once Varicella (Chicken Pox)
Anaphylaxis – once Antibody test for Hepatitis C and HIV 1 and 2 if new to the Trust (results must be from a UK-based laboratory)
Protection of Vulnerable Adults and Children – every 3 years
Administration of Medications – every 3 years
Hyponatremia – once (for NHS work)
Venepuncture & Cannulation – once (for NHS work)
Administration of IV Medications – every 3 years (for NHS work)
Haemovigilance/ Right Patient, Right Blood – once (for NHS work)

  5. Confirmation: Once you confirm your interest in a shift, receive confirmation from Staffline along with further details about your shift.
