Job Title: Yard/Store Operative

Location: Ballymena

Working Hours:

• Monday - Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm or 8:30am - 5:30pm

• Friday: 8:00am - 5:00pm

• Saturday: 8:00am - 1:00pm (on a rota basis/when required)

• Breaks: 15-minute paid tea break and 30-minute unpaid lunch break

Forklift Licence: Preferred, but training will be provided if not already held

The Role:

We are currently recruiting for a Yard/Sore Operative to join a busy and well-established agricultural retail business in Ballymena.

The successful candidate will:

• Provide excellent customer service at all times

• Advise customers on yard and warehouse products

• Assist customers with loading goods

• Unload, check and store incoming goods, reporting any damage or discrepancies

• Maintain a clean and organized yard and warehouse

• Help manage stock levels

• Support other store operations as required

The Person:

The ideal candidate will:

• Have a good basic education

• Possess basic computer skills

• Have an interest in and knowledge of agriculture

• Be friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic with strong communication skills

• Have some product knowledge of agricultural goods (training will be provided)

• Ideally have experience in a retail environment

• Hold a forklift licence (preferred but not essential - training can be provided)
