Warehouse Supervisor

My client, a leading freight forwarding company based in Mallusk are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join their team on a permanent basis

Salary: £30k+ depending on experience

Hours: 6.00hrs - 1430hrs (requirement to work one late shift per week to 1800hrs or later as required and one Saturday morning in three would also apply

Essential Criteria

• Applicants must be a skilled forklft operator and have a valid licence (Counterbalance)
• Must have recent supervision experience based within a warehouse environment
• Experience in the management of and assistance of drivers
• Excellent communication skills

Job Role

• Supervison of a team of forklift drivers
• Reporting to the deport manager and transport manager
• Organisation of the forklift drivers to offload incoming trailers and reloading 200-250 pallets per day, to a fleet of 15-20 distribution vehicles for delivery throughout NI
• Full active role as a forklift driver
• Management and assistance to drivers locating and loading freight
• Checking goods received
